Towering 730 feet above the river this is claimed to be the highest bridge in California. In the first picture, the short road bridge in the foreground is the former location (give or take a few hundred yards) of the 1862 Auburn-Coloma suspension bridge. The "No Hands" arch bridge is a little ways up around that bend on the left (not pictured).
