This bridge is located in a remote section of northern California (not too far from the Horse Creek suspension bridge. The plaque on one of the towers is in recognition of the Siskiyou County Bridge Crew for their restoration work in 1998. The Federal Highway Administration's database notes this bridge as originally completed in 1938.
A little extra weight to help hold down the anchorages.
