Dave writes: "[Visited] just before the refurbishment had been completed. I chatted to a couple of the workmen. They said that the towers had been offsite for refurbishment. Apart from pieces being cut out to replace the four sections over the tower tops the main cables had been reused. One of the workmen let me into their compound to photograph one of the sections that had been cut out. It was in quite good condition for a 110 plus year old cable."
