Ben writes: "While employed by the State of Florida Division of Forestry (now the Florida Forest Service), I designed and supervised construction of the Sweetwater Creek Suspension Bridge. The bridge is 100 feet long, has four feet of interior passage clearance, and is handicapped-accessible. Access to the bridge is provided via a 6-foot-wide boardwalk that passes by an operational gristmill powered by an overshot waterwheel. The boardwalk is about 3,000 feet long in total, and is part of a trail that connects Krul and Bear Lake Recreation Areas on Blackwater River State Forest, near the community of Munson, in Santa Rosa County."
