Dave writes: "The bridge is currently [in early 2013] shut. The new woodwork you can see is part of the hotel refurbishment and nothing to do with bridge repairs. One of the workmen at hotel said the bridge is due to be dismantled. Taken away to be refurbished off site. He said the funding is coming from the UK National Lottery Fund."
