The newspaper article is from the New Haven Register, possibly from 1971. Ray writes: "The bridge played a prominent part in my life, as I fell from it when I was about 10 years old and almost drowned. [Follow this link] to the Hamden Daily News where you can read the story of that fateful day. Just scroll down through the first few stories and you will find a story called 'Gone Fishing - Part II'." Ray notes his photographs are circa 1967.
