On a clear day, if you know where to look, you can see this bridge from the Golden Gate Bridge. Cross over the Golden Gate and follow the roads into the Marin Headlands to Pt. Bonita. The point juts out into the ocean and the lighthouse is reachable only by crossing the suspension bridge (with ocean crashing on either side).
