Patrick writes: "Located just off Interstate 80 halfway between Truckee, California and Reno, Nevada. It's about a third of a mile into Sierra County north of its border with Nevada County (California). Actually, Mystic is literally just a dot on the map that contains a railroad siding, not much anything else. This suspension footbridge spans a dam crest on the Truckee River. While standing on the bridge looking east - Nevada is just a few hundred yards up the mountain side. To gain access to this one I had to park along a good sized pull off area on eastbound I-80 (geographically North here) and hike a half mile down to the river on a gravel service road to the dam. There was a gate arm prohibiting me from driving in. After visiting the bridge I continued eastbound on I-80 (really had no other choice) to the next exit to turn around. There is no pull off area going westbound to gain access to this bridge."
