It's not entirely clear to me if the foreground is the Saint-Florent-le-Vieil side of the river or the Varades side of the river. One clue: in the postcard, the road curves to the left. At the present-day crossing, the road also cuves to the left if you are looking from the Saint-Florent-le-Vieil side towards Varades.
The other suspension bridge is visible in the distance. There also appears to be some debris sitting on the near bridge (middle-right).
