Suspension Bridges Crossing Dolai Khal

This is a list of the only bridge from the suspension bridge inventory crossing Dolai Khal. Please note that different rivers with the same name will be grouped together. For example, selecting 'Bear Creek' shows bridges across several different Bear Creeks. Also, similarly named rivers are grouped separately. Notes:

  • Crossed the canal now known as Dolai Khal. The actual location of the bridge has since been paved over and is now the center of a large intersection.
  • At time of completion, the city was known as Dacca as part of India. 1830, 1831, and 1832 cited as year of completion from various sources. AAJ assumes 1831 based on a brief reference to the recently completed bridge in the September 1831 Mechanics Magazine.
